Time Matrix Summary |
AOI Implementation Objective |
|
|
To provide a structured yet flexible way of successfully implementing
world class database-centric business solutions!
AOI Implementation Structure
The AOI Implementation Model consists of seven clearly definable phases
which are summarized in the table below. The first four phases are central to planning and
documentation while the last three are central to physical implementation, enhancement and
support!
AOI Phase Name |
Primary Phase Deliverable - Description |
Initial Look |
Documentation - quickly outlines the initial scope of the project |
Proof of Concept |
Code - usually associated with high-risk cross-application issues |
Scope |
Documentation - scopes project goals, functionality, cost and time |
Logical Design |
Documentation - defines every requirement, implementation time and cost |
Physical Design |
Code - the tables, queries, forms and reports are created according to the AOI Logical Design Deliverable |
Enhance |
Code - introduces scheduled versions or new modifications and enhancements |
Support |
Code/Documentation - support and strategize |
Each phase in the AOI Implementation Model is designed to run
concurrently; however, the model will efficiently serve to implement other scenarios. For
example, the AOI
Logical Design Phase is typically used for documenting exact client specifications and
serves as an implementation time and cost schedule. However, it may be adopted for a
detailed RFQ or in-house implementation scenario!
